I'm pretty happy about it. If anyone checked out the project007 thread you know it took me a while to get the car to the point that I'd want to put pictures on the Web unless they were "look how bad this is" shots.

Thumbs up

Your car looks really sweet, Shane! I love the wheels you have on it. Do you have any pics of the heat shielding you made for the intake?

It is turtle wax and I'm sorry, My car has a Maaco type paintjob and it really needs some help the shine is just a bit dull. I mean it looks pretty goood like maybe they gave it a good wet sand but there is parts that need help and the hood looks like someone used a brush to wash it!

Try using ZYMOL. It's about 8-10 bucks at an auto parts store, and the wax is just amazing. Easy on, easy off, and it really brings back color. My friend had a red car that was PINK, I don't think it had ever been waxed. We used zymol, and it was red again.

Nice!

Very Nice looking! I love those rims.... do you have any problems with rubbing? Sorry to hear about the current paint job..... you shoud get it painted now by true paint shop (after you get the front lip spoiler too). Your car is super sweet! I'm thinking like a totally different, exotic, color for the car. I like candy red with a gold base. (you don't see gold...you see red, but the gold base makes it shine and glisten). Keep up the good work.

I am also a true believer in Zymol products.

This is a picture of my $240 paint job maintained by Zymol products.

Thans alot I do have a problem with rubbing on the on the rear passenger side. there was some body work done there and something needs to be trimmed out otherwise no rubbing.
The paint isn't terrible its just needs some work, I'll be checking out that Zymol soon. I plan on some kind of an exotic paint job but the next big thing is going to be a 5 speed. I do like the red idea but i was also thinking a pearl yellow or black with a gold flake and maybe "svx" in ghost letters on the side, I'm not sure if that is tacky or not.
