What goes on struts shox?

Anything special that wears out on the rear/front shocks on these cars? My right rear corner seems to dip more than the rest on our worlds worst roads in NY here.

The left rear shock seems to dance more and feels like the left rear of the car is dipping. Curious as to how long these shocks last.

Also, has anyone replced the front strut bushings?

So you say new struts and mounts in front.

One rear muont has sounded loud for a couple years but she's ignored it as it wasn't that bothersome.

On the new greenie, 92, 40k, I hear a springy grunching kinda sound on a hard nosedive-ideas?

The rear strut mounts rust away. If the car is lower in the back the mount is gone. There are measurements for the ground to bottom of the fender over the wheel in the SM. You should also be able to eye ball the distance above the tires to bottom of the fender. It is not easy to see up into the mount area in the rear.
