Tried a trick repair plastic mounting spuds
We are reinstalling some plastic surround parts for the steering column. We noted several of the plastic screw points (spuds?) were cracked and one was missing a chunk so the screw would not bite. We applied some Gorilla super glue to the cracks and then shrunk on some glue lined wire shrink insulation for more strength. On the one with the missing chunk we applied the shrink tubing and filled the hole with JB Weld. Seems like it worked.
So Gorilla super glue for the cracks Glue lined heat shrink tubing/insulation JB Weld YMMV Gwyn

http://qbond.net/ I don't work for them or anything but have been surprised at how well it works.
