Re: I had an accident;

I hate too hear about your hand Tom, I understand as I was out of work for a few months with my Knee injury back in 2010, it wasn't a "work related" injury, so no Workers comp for me either....still haven't fully recovered financially, but I'd help any way I can...

I know how painful the therapy can be

Prayers for a Speedy recovery

Re: I had an accident;

Hi Huck.
Thanks for prayers.
My hand is getting much better, but if I screw up its back to square one...
They keep reminding me that if I tear a ligament they really have a poor
re-do rate/history.
So I have to strech it out and back slowly and carefully.
I have made $70.00 last month and $216.00 so far this month!
Need some parts?
Tom

Re: I had an accident;

I need an underseat drawer for the Pace Car, got one of those laying around, if so shoot me a price.

And need to rebuild my shifter in the Yellow one, but think I have new bushings "somewhere" in my garage....

It's been almost 5 years since my knee injury, and it is back to probably 95% but took a long time to get it there, but keep up the therapy (even if it is only at home) and it'll get better.

Re: I had an accident;

Tom,
I am sorry to hear about your injury. As a fellow self employed mechanic I can identify with how hard it is to be injured. Even a paper cut on your thumb can slow you down but being really injured can stop you all together.

I can works on Porsche?!
Thanks Harry.

I am now able to do some light work, like an axle/brakes, just don't tell my Doctor!

I went to physical therapy today and the therapist could not believe how good my hand looked!
The swelling is way down and the range of motion is much better.
I actually got 4
hours and 20 minutes of work Monday!
Thanks Tim!
As long as I don't screw up in a month hopefully, things will not be normal, but at least be acceptable.
Tom

If so I have a new one here.

Or did you mean #28012PA020/28012PA030?
For those I will have to see which one that I do have, new in a box.
Unfortunately, I already had ordered the parts. I was thinking about the tools to do the extraction and pressing. The other problem for me is time. It is basketball season and my younger son made varsity so I won't want to miss out on that. Still, I really want to get these brakes and bearing done. If you were closer it would be a no brainer. Too much to do and too little time to do it in. I still need to get the dent fixed from the asshole that hit it while it was PARKED last month. I say asshole because it didn't even leave a note. Then I need to get the Krown rustproofing sprayed on to keep it rust free for now. On top of all that, work has been busier than it has been for 14 years. I will think about this and try to come up with a plan. BTW, is a bearing and hub replacement something like a noob like me should be doing even if under your guidance?
