I am getting an invalid code. Does it start now or Saturday? I suppose you wouldn't want to share your email address via PM, would you?

Re: subaruparts.com coupon

Unreal. I just checked on the status of my order and their website dropped it somehow. Now I have to order the parts again with no discount. I will never order from these guys again. They gouge the fock out of people on shipping and their website sucks.

Where would you order instead, just out of curiosity? I ran a quote on parts from subaruparts.com and, although their shipping was cheaper, the lower price of parts from subarugenuineparts.com made the total on the order cheaper. If there is a better source, I'd like to know. Now that my passenger-side rear bearing is fixed it's quiet enough to hear that the drivers side needs replacing as well.

For anything that CAN be ordered from Rock Auto, I order from Rock Auto. There is the dealer in MD and the one you mentioned.

I have had good luck with liberty subaru in New Jersey.
http://libertysubaruparts.com/parts/

SVX parts "online prices" are 20% off "MSRP", with no coupons needed.

If it doesn't need to be a subaru genuine part, then RockAuto.
Aftermarket TIMKEN front wheel bearing from RockAuto is $37 instead of the $95 for subaru genuine..

Great, I ordered power window switches over a week ago. Got an email stating "order confirmed" followd by an "order processing". I'm starting to worry, does it really take 9 days to process an order for a power window switch?!

It took Subaruparts.com 6 weeks to send me a caliper rebuild kit...
I gave up on them, they overcharge for shipping and it takes forever to get stuff.

I just use Subaruparts.com for part lookups and then order from libertysubaru in NJ now.
Liberty has the part diagrams, but they don't list part numbers.

Re: subaruparts.com coupon

Am I really the only one who has never had a problem with them?
10+ orders over the past 5 years and I think the longest wait was 10 days from order to showing up on my doorstep. And that included parts that needed to be ordered in almost every time.

Apparently. Either that, or I'm just a cursed first time buyer!

Re: subaruparts.com coupon

Seriously? I have dealt with them for many years. Shipping across country takes a bit longer but, the discount beats what the local Subaru dealer is asking. I don't understand, I have yet to have had a bad experience, from major body parts to many mechanical parts and small trim parts. Who else offers parts schematics?

Re: subaruparts.com coupon

It's kinda like the Post Office: I've always been mystified by how folks complain about the service, when in almost 40 years of being a USPS customer I can't recall a single issue of consequence. Been lucky, I guess.

I've placed several orders with subaruparts.com over the past 10 years and, no, cannot recall a single issue of consequence. Can they be slow? Sure, at times. Shipping charges seem steep? Yeah, but well, it sure beats a 3+ hour round trip to a Subaru dealership, where I'd likely pay "full list" for whatever part I need (if it happens they actually have whatever part I need). I'm pretty sure my last order (SVX ball joints?) was shown as not in stock yet still arrived in about a week.

Agree... two to three orders a year for several years and with the 15% off of the already discounted prices it is very reasonable. I just ordered a set of trunk and hood gas struts. The ones for the hood were less that $70 each including shipping... cheapest I have seen. Parts usually show up about a week after I place an order.

One time, not long ago, I was having trouble finding the long weatherstrip trim piece on the exterior drivers door where the glass meets the door body. I've ordered from Liberty before and will again, but when I called Liberty about the part; as nice as they were they said there were no more in the country and they couldn't help.

I gave subaruparts.com a call and he said... "correct, there are no more in the country, but let me check Japan and call you back." He called me back and said he ordered five to replenish the warehouse stock and one for me. It took about 8 weeks but I got the part at the price that was listed on the site.

I'll do business with them anytime.
