15 minute mod question

Do I just need to jack the car up using the pinch welds on the sides or do I need to use a jacking point inside?

Re: 15 minute mod question

I put mine up on ramps. You can probably do it with the car on the ground or with 2 wheels up on a curb for more clearance.

Re: 15 minute mod question

I did mine without jacking up the car. I used a jack on the cross member only to lift it take the weight off of it ( I did not jack the car of the ground) , then I took bolts off and install the help! bushings and reinstall the bolts! it made the job easier than it already is.

Re: 15 minute mod question

What is the torque specs for the bolts for this mod?
I looked in the how to section under suspension but can't find the write up.

Car is going back to the shop on monday, they are going to have it on a lift, might as well have them do this too right?
This makes the car handle better? Does it make it ride harder or softer?

What are the chances the shop will break a bolt off or strip something doing this?

Edit, I think I found it. http://www.subaru-svx.net/forum/showthread.php?t=27738
SVXfiles said "94-116 ft/lb, according to our shop computer.". Is this the correct torque?
So that means they can just impact gun it at 100-110ft/lb or whatever it is set at until it is tight?
I just want them to do it right the first time. :P
