O/T but funny in a sad way

I'm sure some of you remember I have a friend who sells auto flush machines to dealers and mechanics in the Central PA region. He was at a Chevy dealer last week talking to the service manager about this one Vette that was having traction control problems. The customer brought it back right after the 30k service. It had been there for a week or so and no one could figure out what was wrong. My friend looked at the car and kind of laughed at the guy. He said "did you rotate the tires at the 30k service?".
"Off course the guy responded".
"Well, you have the 17" front wheels on the back and the 18" rear wheels on the front. I'm sure if that isn't causing the problem. It can't be too good for the car".
It did solve the problem. Any locals want to try to guess the dealer?

wouldn't the customer be as big a moron as the dealer? you've had a car for 30k miles and don't realize that something doesn't look quite right with the wheels?

O/T

Its Forbes. If you ask me the customer already proved his/her lack of brain cells by spending $50k on a piece of fiberglass with more orange peel than your average county in Florida thats designed to look like a bad NSX. Still, there's no excuse for this kind of inept service from a dealer. Now had it been a Merkur or a Capri conv., I'd kinda understand but a good old piece of 50s American technology?

New Vette

No they didn't quit! Had they quit it'd probably look like the rear end of a Pontiac Bonneville.

I've noticed they stole some design features from the 3rd gen RX-7 with the corvette... compare 'em sometime. btw... I saw a C5 vette on the parkway north yesterday that was absolutely BEAT to hell and back. One of the mirrors was missing, it looked like it had never been washed, and only one of the headlights was functioning... whole passenger side of the car was scraped up. yeesh...

What's up with that? Is it a requirement that all car dealerships in PA have names that begin with "F"?
