For the Autocrossing SVXer!

I'm switching over to 17 inch rims with Hoosier 295/35-17 R-comps for my future autocrossing with Racer X, so my trusty 16 inch TSW rims and Hoosiers have to move out to make room. The rims are 9 inches wide, so the 275/45 Hoosiers on them are a perfect fit. While Racer X has had its wheel wells modified, this rim/tire combination should work without any body work as long as you have the Koni/GC coil overs installed (I was only running Mychailo's upgraded springs when I went with this rim/tire combo, thus the need for the body mods). The rims come with hubcentric rings, so they bolt right up with acorn-style lug nuts (which I'll include). To round out the deal, I'm including 4 never mounted Hoosiers (still have their factory stickers!) that I've been storing to replace the tires currently on the rims.

$475 takes it all. Due to the amount of items and the weight, you must pick them up (sorry, I don't have the time to deal with the shipping).

Feel free to email me at william.e.cutlip@nasa.gov if you have any questions about the rims/tires.

-Bill

Re: For the Autocrossing SVXer!

Bill, Bill, Bill, have you priced real race rubber in 17s? None of this street legal crap but real race rubber. You'll be able to buy a nice used Harley for the wife or 4 tires.

Oh and I just pulled around 1g on the street with some 205 Hankooks in the TVR. I shutter to think what it'll be capable of with a proper alignment and a non-bumpy surface. Bump steer sucks when it results in making you airborne on our lovely PA roads.

Re: For the Autocrossing SVXer!

Ben,
Yeah, I already have a set of 295 Hoosiers on Mustang rims (same thing the Moran clan is running) with an extra set of tires in the cellar Not full out, bias ply race tires like you've got on the RaceCar, but not bad You can see why I need to make some room...

Bill, I will pick them up when we meet up at AA in a couple weeks. I think these will be perfect for what I need.
