I suppose I'll be first to gratify this post with a response...

From what I understand, the USDM EG33 specs are about 230 hp at the crank. I was once told that the JDM model put out 240, knowing what I know about japanese emissions I assume this isn't an unreasonable gain.

If your worried that you can't take down your friend's 240SX or his sisters 1.8 DSM, you're fine I assure you. Though I'll warn you, if you were looking for a alternative to the WRX or a subaru Skyline, nows a bad time to tell you that your car isn't going to make a good DR1FT MACH1N3, yo.

worlds fastest 4wd all the way from new zealand 7.57 @ 306kph (190mph)
http://www.performancecar.co.nz/arti...-r33-drag-gt-r - 52k -

we r lucky with our mods over here, for instance i can carbon every panel on the svx including roof, insert custom lightweight glass etc and have it certified as roadlegal with a 1060-1080kg kerbside weight, and why cant a strong motor like the eg33 b rebuilt and capable to run 500+hp wth say 20-30psi???

Glad to have you aboard, but text messaging is an abomination of the human endeavor, and makes the typist look like a hormonal 15 year old.

The board rules state, and I quote.

Quote:
* All posts are to be made in English. If you post something in a different language, a translation is required. The staff only reads English text, therefore we cannot moderate posts that are not written in English.
Texting is many things, sir, but English it is not. If getting up with the times requires me to bastardize a perfectly good dialect, I will not.

Many kids in the US are not able to get jobs because our corporations won't stoop to using text messaging. The good lord blessed us all with a full size keyboard, so, lets use it, shall we?

I really understand that this may come across as crass. I don't mean to be, and I mean no insult to you. This is one of my pet peeves, as it were. Additionally, you may find that some of the more technical minded among us will try, and give up trying to read a paragraph that looks more like the assembly code of the damned.

As I said, welcome to the board, we are absolutely glad to have you here, and I wouldn't hesitate to try to solve any problem you have. Please just make it easier for me to do so.

Warm regards,
Patrick

teh inNTeNetz pWnZ M3!!!! Get off it. If you are using text lingo in office documents you need to realize you are not on your mobile anymore. Try grammar, punctuation, and spelling. The basic foundations that people who are "keeping up with the times" are showing to our youth are not important. But hey, I am a teacher and I am exposed to over 200 students a day that I get this crap from, so why should I know any better? I am sorry but if you communicate is abbreviations you should find a tree with some rope and convince yourself life isn't worth it anymore.

I find it funny that you're on the boards while at school .

But back onto the topic, with the progress of built motors over here, we should be hitting some good numbers and have come a long way in the past 3 years or so.

I'm waiting for the dyno plots
