There's a Sunoco here in redneck land that sells 110 octane. Just for giggles I've run it in my Pinto, I was able to bump the boost & timing WAY up

Of course shortly thereafter, I was pulling the Turbo motor out & reinstalling the stocker. Too much boost, not enough fuel.....oops

You'll hafta excuse FOMOGO & I we're Ford 2.3 guys as well
Mine was an otherwise stock '86 ford 2.3T
it gave up at 17deg and 20psi, but not until I refueled & FORGOT I'd bumped it up

Think I still have a 2.3T engine and new set of turbo pistons (4-in box) sitting on a shelf someplace.

But back on topic--my SVXi have NEVER had a diet of premium fuel and all are running well with high mileage.

If no 91 is available, I fill up $20 of 89 and $20 of 93... but fortunatly the Sunoco here has 91 grade, and hot chicks pumping it!!!
