well...i dont actually own a svx...but i do own an base 95 impreza L with the svx engine swap....power wise...the NA flat 6 has really good throttle response and torque is really good! im really happy with my swap...
me and my buddy test ran eachother...he has a 04 sti...from 10mph roll...i took him half a car up to about 70mph...then he slowly walked away...but....anyways.... the svx is a sweet car...to think about it....its actually a rare car...dont see it as much as supras, nsx, rx7, etc etc etc....its a one of a kind! a beauty!

It is a rare car, as across the 5 years it was sold in the US(92-97), only ~14k were sold, ~25k world wide. While the supra/nsx/rx7 is a "rare" car, they're not nearly as rare as the SVX.
Also, my rotors warped. they were warped to hell when i replaced them. Since then stopping has been a pleasure instead of being shaken all over the place.

If you took the rotors off and put them on a lathe, it would hit only certain parts of the rotor, leading you to the conclusion that they 'warped', when in reality it's almost impossible for a rotor to warp.

See...stoptechs thing was a very good description to what happens to brake rotors...but "warping" refers to any wavyness or distortion of the brake rotor.they even pout pictures up themselves:
  Note both images make refrences to excessive heat. Would that not be warped?

Back to your question re electronic signals passing through the windshield - there were two windshields used on the SVX, one had titanium in the glass. Expensive. Later in production, FHI attempted to save $$ building the car and a simpler color tint was used in some models. The tinted windshield is the one most often found for replacement today. The titanium version had problems with electronic signals passing through. The tinted version has no such problems.

Titaniums are bronze or blue, while regular tint has a greenish hue, and is about $300 cheaper.
