Hmm, ball joint eh?

I just found out that the awful 'clank' noise when my car goes over bumps isn't a bushing or loose exhaust. It's the damn ball joint. I noticed yesterday that when I brake my front right wheel squeaks.

Anyone know what a new ball joint would run me? I'm kinda broke. I only got about $200 to spend right now...

"What Porsche?"
"Look behind us."

Labor doesn't concern me. I know in order to do the bearings I need a press, but tools I got.

Hell me and my room mate pulled out the engine from his 86' RX and popped it in a Loyale wagon lol.
But that's cool, I was worried it was gonna be expensive lol.

After properly supporting the car, and removing the wheel, its then only four bolts and nuts.
Just don't pinch/remove your fingers, as the lower control arm bushings tend to have some energy, and don't want to stay down out of the way.
