Car is back after two years... picking your brains.

Hi folks.

I just swapped in 4.44s, and after two years of not having my car, I'm a bit paranoid, this transmission isn't behaving as it should.

It seems to flare between 2nd and 3rd. This only happens with a light throttle, (stop and go traffic speeds), it almost feels like its dropping into 1st before moving to 3rd.

There is noticeable binding in reverse, depending on how hard the wheel is turned, it acts as if the hand brake is lightly set.

I'm getting the most curios metal squeak from the rear end if I move too quickly from forward to reverse. Sounds like metallic nails on a chalkboard and goes squeakeek-eek. all one sound, and then stops.

And somthing sounds like I'm lightly touching the exaust to the ground on occasion. (maybe the driveshaft is hitting it?)

Is a band adjustment likely to help, or should I just junk this tranny and scream at everyone I come into contact with over the next few days

Can you guess the name of the shop that did this too me?

Double A M C Ohhhhh the humanity.

-Good lord, I think my car is a' tryin' to kill me.
