I think what you are saying is yes you would like to have a 2nd version of stage 2 that has the reduced timing for petrol.

Michael,
It's obvious that you've been reading my posts long enough to read my ECUTune-related mind Yep, I'm all in for the 2nd version of stage 2.

Ya, i'm not saying it's the fuel cut that's responsible either. I'm just saying it's possible since it is there. It's very possible I only mostly fixed the problem and that going to the 20 degree floor will get rid of the last of it. Do you have both maf meter connectors on your harness now or only the z32 maf meter connector? I am trying to get these new versions of software out for christmass and I want to have the mt stall completely eliminated in them not just much improved.

The only problem with the manual bypass was fairly common episodes of high idle. My clutch pedal is wired to communicate to the ECU when it is depressed. As previously posted:

Do you still have your old connector? Would you want to trial the stage1v5?

Who has a manual transmission and wants to trial stage1v5?

I'm all for the larger injectors and a mapping that'll go well with them.

I might be up for that. Though, I haven't had any stall problems to date. Would I still get the discount when I upgrade to stage 2?

Seriously though, if you want someone to test it out, I will.

Is there a test I can do to see if I have the stall problem in the first place?

Ya, if your car stalls out in the middle of the street you have the stall problem

I think it's best we cure a symptomatic car to trial the fix. Hopefully its just not symptomatic because its running on 3 cyllinders with bad spark plugs. I'm becoming leary of having other people test stuff for that kind of reason but I don't have a manual so someone else has to do it.

Yeah, my car stalls, but that's because I still suck at driving stick.

Makes sense. I'd rather just pony up for stage 2 anyway. I'll let you know as soon as said ponies are available.
