I've been getting 16 to 18 around town and 27 hwy.
Mine does have an ECU Tune trans. Other than that, I just keep up on it's maintenance and don't drive stupid (very often)

Isnt 16-18 city bad for a six cylinder engine.

Not sure how you figure... It was originally rated for 17mpg city, then revised to 15. Compare that to say, the Audi 2.8l 30v V6 (200ish hp IIRC) quattro that came out years later which is still rated about the same in a similar weight vehicle with an extra gear.
