OT - Need help on Legacy

The sister of a good friend of my wife has a brand new 2001 Legacy sedan with 15,000 miles on it. The engine siezed and the transmission fell out of the bottom of the car onto the road. She is okay. It happened at the end of her driveway. This lady is definitely not a speed racer. She is a nurse in New Hampshire. I need to know the good Subaru dealer service depts. in both Vermont and New Hampshire.

Thanks to all for your help.

Hey Larry, I can't help you directly with your question. Is it okay if I cut and paste this over to the Legacy Forum on the i-Club. I know there's some active members from up that way that may have some suggestions. I'm sure they'd be interested in the outcome as well.

Okay Larry, here's some initial replies...

Seized Legacy Motor- Dealer Referrals?

Hello, New England! One of my old buddies with an SVX posted a message over on an SVX club website, asking for a little help. He didn't seem to get much response, so I thought I'd copy and paste it here, since you guys should know best. Check his message and see if you can give any good suggestions or tips. All I know is what's been copied here. I can relay any questions or information to him. I told him to let me know the outcome. I'm curious what the heck happened.

Thanks-
Rich

Hey Larry, here's another thought from one of the guys...

"Oh, and before she even goes to a dealer she should be on the phone with SoA - 1800-SUBARU3."

EXETER SUBARU!!

Ask for Scott in the service department. Excellent person. Bill, Mike or Mike in Parts also for all your Subaru needs.
