Saw a clever plate yesterday
I was driving down town last night after returning from my ATL trip(had to give my baby a nice spin) in a fair amount of traffic. all of a sudden i hear alot of blow off valve flutter and exhuast gurgle and across 2 lanes of traffic a 2.5RS pulls up next to me in the bus lane on the right. He gives me the thumbs up and then a nice rev......wait a minute? yup i said Bypass valve. It was a 2.5 turbo, beutiful with full body attention as well as the engine work. Sucker was fast and sounded evil. He took off, pulling in front of me and i got a good look at his license plate. It said
" DIY STI" I think that is about as clever a plate to have for a 2.5rs-t. (Ej25 engine, with an aftermarket turbocharger for all of you who don't know.) phil

Now all he needs is to upgrade everything else on the car. ...but very cool nonetheless. I'd rather have a two-door Imprezza over an STI any day - especially one like that. The new STIs just don't do it for me. Lots of giddyup, but I think Subaru is lost without Ital Design. The 2.5RS coupe is the only recent Subaru deserving of an honorable mention in regards to styling, and even that's out of pity. I sure wish they'd bring back the coupes - and build them like that!
