I really need to vent. dont you hate when nothing goes your way, and everything bad happens all at once?

Problem one: One day after being together for five months with my girlfriend, she decides she wants a break. Now this break she speaks of hasnt been a break at all it seems, but just time to make me jealous. We have been seeing eachother still, but not as much and not as seriously. Now, she sees 2 other guys. not dating, not doing anything with, but just hanging out. and golly that makes me angry. Do i have a right to be mad? she says she loves me, but doesnt want to be serious right now. how am i supposed to react to that. i know i love her, but not sure if her love for me is true. HELP!!! I dont know what to think. We have now been on a "break" since april 12th no matter who was at Reading and what you may have heard

Problem 2...and its a big one. The week after reading, overheating. My car of course......Most have you have heard the story. So without the svx, i was horrible, but without my girl too was even worse....So with no svx, i drove my moms car, 97 Mirage. Nice, fun car. Around the beginning of May, my mother wrecked it. so thats 2 cars.....I next had a mercury cougar, POS really. that car made it about 2-3 weeks.....tranny blew on me. Then after that horrible moment, i was then stuck in a 91 chevy caprice, ugly nasty car, but hey, could i burn rubber or could i burn rubber? now, i am stuck in a chrysler new yorker, not a bad car, but slow....gosh i could go on and on about car woes...like the tease of getting my svx back only to find out we didnt fix what we thought needed to be fixed. now...blown head gasket.

thank you for listening to me wine and complain. i needed to tell someone. any help is greatly appreciated.

Pat,

That's a serious string of bad luck! Here's my $0.02...

Problem 1 - If you really love this girl, use the reduced time you have together to show her how special she is to you. Whatever you do, DON't keep complaining to her about hangin' with the two other guys. You want her to have the best time and make the happiest memories when she's with you!

Now if you don't love this girl but just like her, this would be an excellent (and I stress EXCELLENT!) opportunity to meet other women while hanging out with your old girl every now and then for some fun!

Problem 2 - I don't know what to say here, but the 'meet monster' reared its ugly head!

i have tried to show her. i dont know what else i can do. i dont think there is anything.......I do love her. I can imagine being with anyone else. I have been with my fair share of girls, and NO ONE i have met is like her....so im tryin to hang on

a late meet monster, thats odd. it didnt screw me prior to the meet, or during, considering i drove easily 300 miles during the meet, running home, pickin up "my" girl, takin my new bumper home, i thought if anytime, thats when it would blow. of course blowing my motor had to be svx related. i was goin to look at a possible parts car

i say forget about the girl...there is no such thing as "time" would you ever think about needed time away from a person that you really love? and if she really loved you, she wouldn't do things on purpose to hurt you. date a few of her friends and feel better. Bill took one day and called me in tears saying how he missed me so damn much...that is love.

the car...that can be fixed...look at the bright side you could be stuck with a neon....

go out, hang out with your friends and live up being single. i know that is hard, and i know how it feels to be rejected, and it sucks. surrounding yourself with friends and hot girls makes it better

thanks everyone. i still dont know what im gonna do about the girl. now im just tryin to make her jealous, talkin to other girls and stuff, see how she likes it. everytime i do talk to one, she gets mad and says "hes MY patrick"......thats how i feel about her and other guys, but she wont listen. i do listen......i am so easily walked on...

Ah yes the jealousy game This is what lead my wife to, well..do what she did. I'm just not the jealous kind, and it seams as if women want a guy to get jealous. (Kelli any input here?) I always figured I would let her be happy hanging out with her freinds, going to clubs, flirting with other guys. I was fine with that, but it seemed to all be a test that I was failing witch lead her to push it a little further, (OK, alot further).

I guess the point is, before anything else can happen take her, throw her down on the bed, tell her how you feel and have one of the best night together since you met her. And as far as her getting jealous about you with other women.....haven't you figured them out by now?

hey man, i am more jealous then any other person on the planet...at a graduation for one of my fellow squad members, i saw bill talking to a girl with two kids with her...they were laughing...and yadda...and boy did my face get red...it was only an ex of one of his friends and her two kids...but still, laughing with another girl, i wanted to rip her throat out..

now the flirting part...i may flirt a lot....but i flirt with girls too!! not that i am attracted to them...it is fun just to fart around and have a good old time. the only time he gets mad is if i am flirting with some guy he doesn't like, which...there are about 6 people on the planet he doesn't like....and 5 of them, i don't like either

don't play games with her...she wants to make a rep for herself of spreading like peanut butter on a hot day, let her. your the man, spread your seed!

sure, it shows that the guy really cares about a girl...to some girls....i would rather have a guy say, " i hate it when those guys stare" then some raging lunatic..."those bastards, i'll kill them!!!" but then again....one that doesn't even notice...is a little boring...come on, have some sort of spark, shesh!

some people boil over...like me....some people have a lesser reaction, i would rather the lesser, jealousy can make some people do some crazy and very hurtful things. like i said before, don't play games, if she is worth it, she will come back, then you decide whether or not you want her back

Whatever ya do man dont play the same game with her. I'm a firm believer in whatever goes around comes around. I just try to be as nice as possible to people. Thats just who i am though. If i had a girl that played games like that then i'd say F*** it. No one needs that kind of S***. IF the two of you really love eachother and are definitley meant to be together then she will come back or something will happen and the two of you will be back again. I'm not with the person i love anymore. I was after this girl for about a yr....we finally went out for 8 months and then broke up. I was lovin this grl before we even went out. We're best friends and we still talk. I am convinced i am meant to be with her for the rest of my life but i am letting things go with the flo and just taking things one day at a time. I used to stress about it thinking i would never be with her again. But, now i dont stress anymore because if we are meant to be....then we will be together. Just keep that in mind. And commenting on something i read before.....i havent seen alot of young ladies driving svx's....seems like a sausage party to me...if ya know what i mean
