I have installed the stiffer shock mounts from Subaru and the ride is well stiffer. However the little bumps are annoying. Right around 60 mph the ride is very smooth. The front struts are oil filled and can be cut open. Some have installed inserts. Kuho The rear stuts are gas filled.

Some have installed Koni inserts, which you'll be hard pressed to find at this point. I believe Dayle at Motorsports Warehouse is trying to get them to do another run. He did a limited run (which it was relatively "sworn" would be the last batch available) about a year ago. The Koni's and Ground Control coil overs were the preferred setup for the suspension modifiers and the ONLY setup available, performancewise. The Konis are adjustable, if they ever become available again, or, if someone that has them and has not installed them wants to sell you theirs.

Thanks for the info... man, thats sorta depressing. I was hopin there would be something like the Koni's available. Well, I would be in for a group buy, etc., if someone gets them to make another run. Thanks... Sonny

i have the koni, gc setup.

i have just recently got it dialed in. this is not a suspension mod for the faint of heart. you better be serious about spending some money and ready for a much stiffer ride. i love the setup myself but i like the low mean look along with the rough race-car like ride. the only issue is getting someone reputable to do the install. their is some cutting and welding involved. there was a coilover kit available from japan but i dont know if any are left and it was much more expensive than the koni, gc setup. sorry but there is very limited suspension parts for the svx.

Wow, that sounds like more than I have in mind. I'm wanting to just "tune up" the basic layout. I cant believe that there are no aftermarket springs and struts available as bolt on replacements... Bummer... So, basically, it sounds like goin back with the factory parts is the best way to freshen up the suspension..? Thanks for all the input. Sonny
