Manual install question

I am getting ready to install a 2004 WRX 5 speed. In reading the instructions I downloaded one step says install modified/WRX brake booster. I do not have the WRX booster, so what needs to be done to the SVX booster?

Re: Manual install question

Still not sure what needs to modified on stock booster. Is the shaft too long and need to shortened?

Re: Manual install question

You do not need modify the booster if you are modifying the stock brake pedal assembly to include the clutch mechanism. This is the proper way to do it given that the pedals will sit at the right height.
You only modify the booster if you choose to bolt in whatever donor pedalset you have, but then the clutch and brake pedal will be way sunken in compared to the throttle.
