Vent issue

Hello all love my SVX but when you push the vent button it will not switch to the vent. It will blow from the bottom or the defrost. Any Advise???

It's propably the tracks by your right foot getting stuck. Try cleaning them and lubing them up.

Does the light come on under the vent button when you press it?

Yes the light does come on and the blower comes on and just blows through the bottom

The vents are sticking where I mentioned then.

Sounds good I will check this out. Now I can build you a Fiero with my eyes closed but not an SVX as of yet. Can I get a photo of what you are pointing to on this. Thank you in advance.

I gave mine a quick cleaning and they now allow use of the top vents. I probably need to do a better job though because occasionally I have to reach down under and nudge it back into position. If you are looking up from under the dash it is mounted to the right of the gas peddle, not on the dash but on the center console side, it is the only thing in that area, you can't miss it. This thread has a picture of it:

Im going to check it out tomorrow. I put a train horn in it today. Funny stuff. The sterio is mostly in as well. Doing a full system. Will post photos when completed.
