Cool - I'm interested in the results. Planning on going from 2v5 to 2v7 when it is released and from what I hear this is about the same jump as going from 1v4 to 1v5. Keep us posted. Try not to drop that 10mm nut into the dark regions!

I run the regular gas option. I can tell the change. A+ in my book. Will run premium in a fill up or 2. I will run a 2.vX in my next svx.

I have a couple questions about the 1v5. When you get the upgrade option, do you have time to install the new one then send the old one back, or do you have to decommission the car for awhile for the new chip to arrive?

also, what kind of mileage are you looking at, what's the difference between the regular and premium petrol modes?

I didnt send my old ones back and have had the new ones for about 2 months...Hay, it was finally a nice day!

Mileage is about the same, maybe 1mpg less, but I more then save the differance in gas prices. Also, with regular, I dont spin the tires, so that saves me $ also, and I dont drive like as much as a jerk because again it isnt quite as fast.

I just installed my 1v5 today. It took about 30 min. I only driven it once but it seems to be better so far. As for the upgrade, you receive new chips(even & odd). All you have to do is pull the ECU,remove the old chips and install the new chips. That is the only down time you have.
