Stage 2...which octane
any and all or premium only? Dis advantages if using regular?

I am asking because I run 87 w/ my stage1 and it runs great.

Using the 87 Oc configuration? The stage 2 doesn't come with 87 software, afaik.
I believe stage 2 is designed to be best ran on 93. Both versions run advanced timing and considering OEM timing requires premium (probably due to the lean fuel states which ECUTune resolves) I would think there is added risk to running lower grade fuels. It may run just fine on 87, but the factor here is risk of ping.

nexus, are you asking about stage 2v7? It's not out yet. Stage 2 v7 will come in two varieties. One with the 2nd code set to run regular unleaded or nitrous oxide and one with the second code set to run e85. All stage 2v7's will require/allow the use of 370cc injectors.
Stage 2v6 only comes in one variant and it is to run e85 not regular unleaded. |
