auto start

i got auto start on my car and i lost my remote. no big deal right. wrong. the company that made it no longer exsist. so i need a remote or its pointless right? i dont know how old or if its a good brand but it worked. the brand was command start model cs260m. what shall i do? i want to replace but i rather spend money on other things. plus why replace when the thing still works to my standards. starting car and locking doors.
