Fog Lights
With winter coming upon us I would like to fix this problem...My fogs worked fine when i bought my car, then one went and now they both are not working. Is there an easy way to get the bulbs out? I just cant manipulate my hands the right way or something.

I recently had my '92 in for routine service at Suby dealer and also had them install special yellow bulbs (provided by me) in High Beam and Fog Lamps. The $27 they charged me for labor for this was well worth not having the hassle of trying to do it myself.
Suggest you pick up a pair of bulbs at PeP Boys, Auto Zone or similar...then call your local Suby dealer(s) and ask what they'd charge to install. (Also suggest you give them something else to do as well, such as oil change and/or tire rotation to make it worth their while.) For reference, I had oil & filter changed, bulbs installed, and 4-wheel balance and rotation. The total bill was $98, including the $27 to install 4 bulbs. |

The main thing is to change the bulbs when the engine is cool.
If you've never changed the bulbs before the only confusing thing may be the clip that holds the bulb in place. Once you have the bulb out putting the new one in should be straightforward. One more thing...patience

David's right. There's a half-round slot that goes on the bottom and helps to seat the bulb (I just did this, this weekend, so, I'm still familiar). It's not really that bad, once you get your bearings. Trouble is, after I replaced the bulb, it still didn't work. Finally, I noticed that not only was the power supply unplugged for the pass'r's fogger, but, also for the pass'r's high beam. Had apparently been unplugged since I had the fender fixed some 4 or five months ago.
I did have to use needle nose pliers to close the clip, though. Dang, that thing hurts my fingers.
