I don't want to insult anybody here, and more power to modding the SVX, but man, it IS fast. At 80mph your turning 2600rpms or so. THATS INSANE! This car was DESIGNED to cruise at VERY high speeds VERY comfortably, and it does so very well. Like.. if you want to go autocrossing, get a miata or a neon. If you want to go drag racing, get something with a V8 and RWD. If you want to go road racing, well.. you have a lot of options... but for extreme luxury at extreme high speed, the SVX absolutely SHINES. I'm not going to mess with it much.

ok now i think i am seeing things...but i really have to agree with ca$h on this statement..even though i don't cruise at high speeds around my block....i have been in high speeds in the svx...and it really does feel like i am taking a ride around the block...

I am a pessimistic optimistic. I think the worst is going to happen, that way when it does, i don't feel as bad, but if the best happens, i am twice as happy.

Ca$h, you feeling okay? I'm sure that'll pass.

But seriously, folks - I agree totally with what you said. My SVX is the finest road car I've ever owned, and I intend to keep it around for as long as I can.

Well i see it this way, the SVX is a touring car. For 3 to 7 grand what kind of 4wd touring car do you think you can get, if i could afford a Porsche or BMW i would get one but still the SVX is one awesome looking car. Now if you want power get a vette with a supercharger. The SVX is still one of my top wanted cars and i have it at age 16, only about 5 more to collect (300zx or 350Z, 944, supercharged early 80s vette, M coupe, and a Tacoma sr5- trd supercharged)
