Do these pop off??i can get a screwdriver between the plug and the head but looks like they'll tear if i pry them away.

Re: upper cam rubber seal rubber plugs

There's metal inside them, so it has enough structure to come out in one piece. Don't plan on reusing them though.

I usually put a flat head screwdriver against the side of it and give it a few solid taps with a hefty hammer. Pops them out pretty quick.

I can't think of anything easy to pull that would let you do that. You can jumper the starter solenoid to get the starter to turn though. That would do it.

Re: upper cam rubber seal rubber plugs

You could just unplug the 6 injectors and crank the engine a bit. The only problem doing it this way is that you are moving the internals while priming. It's not the best method, but I did it a similar way and did not have any issues.

i dont know of any other way to get oil around the engine without moving the oil pump huh? pull the ignitor plug and save yourself from pulling an extra 5 wires. or if you can fit your hand down there, pull the cranks sensor plug.
