Naming our street.

The local government is going to rename our street.
Our address is 23 shady Hill Lane.
I built our home in 1992 and by the 10th of this month we have to submit our proprosals of street names to " them" so that "they" can choose.
I/we just heard about it tonight, at about 10:00 pm.
Naturally I/we would like something that the three other neighbors would accept.
My list so far is as follows.
Potomac Valley Drive
Potomac View
Sky View Drive
All We'll Drive
Shotgun Way
Cherry Hill
Alcyone Drive
Gracie Place
Gracie Lane
Lois Lane
Hillcrest Lane/Drive
Sunrise View
Sanctuary
1060 West Addison
1600 Pennsylvania Ave
Hope Springs
Mossberg Way
Taurus Way
Beretta Way
Ruby Ridge
Freedom Ridge

If you have an idea for a street name, that you think that we would actually use, please submit it.
Thanks.
Tom

Did they say why they need to change it?

How about "Sky View Crossing" (Xing)

I believe the local government wants to lessen confusion by NOT having similar sounding addresses when someone calls 911.

If they are trying to give your road "unique" appellations to avoid emergency crews going for a wrong address because of similarity, then I think perhaps any of the "Potomac" ones will not be a runner. If you are in view of the river, then so many other housing schemes round you will likely want to use that system also. They are likely to reserve those names for some existing streets of over a hundred years maybe.

It's a pity at all your address is changing, it sounds pretty and evocative.

Here's a few suggestions, maybe they would be sufficiently "different" enough to gain favor:

Citadel Rise/Ridge/Road
Elm Hall Lane
Tanglewood Grove

and in the romantic vein of your current street name:

Spirit Rise
Lark's Rise [don't forget the apostrophe!]
Partridge Grove
