New bug! (insect)

I had a request to remove a tree today....
I went to look at the tree and work out a price.

The tree was covered with large bugs that looked like a wasp except they had a tail about 4 inches long. I had seen smaller versions of this critter, but nothing as large or as pleantiful as I encountered today.

I did a 'search' and came to realize that I was dealing with more 'Robber flys' than I had ever met before.

They love decaying wood... Which fits right in because the tree that needs gone is dead.!!

The big issue is that it leans about 20 feet over the house!

I WILL remove it. It will just involve some 'creative' planning!!
