where can I find a #2 crank angle sensor?

found crank angle sensor at 1stsubaruparts.com, it was listed as CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR, These are the same thing right?

Exh temp sensor, is this the right one to check that creates the same 29 code?

Rick

crank angle sensor & Cam position sensor same thing?

I checked out the eletrical and everything looks clean and untouched.
I went back to the autozone and showed them the sensor I need and a clerk pulled up a cam position sensor that looks exactly like the crank angle sensor that I brought in. N-E-ways, I had him order it and as soon as it comes in, I will put it in and let yall know the updates. It shall arrive on the 23rd Jan.
Its a snap to put everything back together!

The exhaust temp sensor is for the EGR.

Crank angle sensor #2, and the camshaft sensor are the same part.
Crankshaft angle sensor #1 is different.

crank cam angle position sensor

LOL, as soon as I realized that was the case when I was in autozone and the guy found it, I told him that i didnt care if they called it a tire pressure guage, as long as it does the job of the crank angle sensor, they can call it anything they want to.
Its good news to me cause #2 sensor is about $45 cheaper than #1, why this is...whatever! Im happy!

The valve covers aren't too bad, and the passenger side is easier to do than the drivers side.

Who's the seller on EBay, before you get too excited, check out the "buyers beware" thread. Unfortunately there are some folks out there that have scammed a few members here.

Read it, and decided to call him personally and inquire.
Talked with him for a little while and he sounded sincere.

He agreed that trus would have to be built for me to do that much business.
I am sending him the money for one part to be overnighted and depending how that goes we will build on it or stop further business.

Im not asking anyone here to agree with me, i am just tought that deep down everyone is a good person if you let them. Its a cheap part, im not too woried if it goes sour. Yall will know the outcome in less than 48 hrs.

Rick
