Trevor, I'm with Ron - you can't bail. In the short time I've been in this network, I've come to look on folks like you, Aredubjay, and Larry romannumerals as the tribal elders that keep things going and serve as role models to those attempting to mature and become productive members of society. The pendulum is bound to swing the other way, eventually.

Ron, I'm 54 - how much longer before I attain curmudgeonhood? Is it anything like geezerdom?

It seems everybody my age(under 20) either has or want's a firebird, mustang or camaro. I say nuts to that. I loved the SVX since the first time i saw it. You know if we could find a way to poll the IQ's or ACT scores or grade points of the svx drivers and lovers compared to the non svx drivers of my age.....I think we'd be pleasantly suprised.

Some on this forum would aver that ownership of a Neon is prima facie evidence of a single-digit IQ. Not all, mind you, but some.

Talking SVX=intelligence

I have to agree with you golddrum11!! I'm probably the youngest person on this site that actually owns a SVX.. and probably the most broke also. I turned 16 on August 21... within 2 weeks of getting my license, found and bought the SVX. (still in debt $2000 dollars to my parents but the won't LET me pay them back until i graduate high-school.. ) So right now i'm just trying to learn as much as I can from the "older SVXers" because they definately seem to know whats going on.

Mom = '98 Red Legacy OUTBACK 65k

30 here.... which gave me two options on the poll, so I picked 20-30 instead of 30-40

Curmudgeonhood is attained by becoming a grumpy old man who has his wits about him. Geezerdom is attained by being grumpy, but not knowing why - or particularly caring about it either.
(Crap - where the hell'd I put my teeth?)

Ron.

Yeh - I need a 60-70 category, too and proud to have survived that far. Since I bought my first SVX in 1995, after selling my Toyota Supra, I used to tell everyone I got an "old man's sports car". I stopped saying that a couple of days after buying it.
