Matt, What cylinders/ports did you get your flow figures on? Went to set up the SF-600 last week to find that the exhaust side is "off" (measuring 5" at ~80%, where it should be measuring 25" at ~80%). Good thing is that the intake side if spot on. -Bill

Bill,
Flow figures were done at 10" of water, not your traditional 28" (I'm lead to believe). We used the middle port on both. You should be able to get the same readings I would have thought. Can your bench be calibrated at 10"? Maybe give that a shot? Matt |

Thanks! The SF-600 allows for testing at any number of inches of water, so I'll be able to test at 10" as well as 28". I've talked to the folks at SuperFlow and I think maybe a line on the exhaust side of the machine got pinched during shipping, just have to pop the back off and look around a bit Any chance you could check out the ports for cylinder #1 (front cylinder on the passenger's side on USDM EG33s)? I measured the distance from the exhaust valve stems to the exhaust flange and the distance for one of the exhaust valves for this cylinder is ~1 inch longer than the other. The other two cylinders for this head have exhaust path lengths fairly equal between their two exhaust valves. -Bill

I did notice that one of the exhaust ports had a convoluted exit...obviously a packaging exercise.
I don't have the heads with me, but will endeavour to get my friend to measure them. Matt |

Rob and Jake...did you get my emails?
I'm wanting to get rid of most of this stuff. Anybody know what's the best option? Matt |

sorry for the long reply...
i am keen on a few bits & pieces still getting rid of the door sill on the passenger side? my panel beater used some liquid nails to re-attach it, coz he broke the clips :P and my power windows unit on the drivers side, the passenger button is borked , might need the whole unit.. |
