LOUD high pitched noise coming from under the hood.

In the moring when it is relatively cold, say.... under 40 degrees, when Im driving and my temp needle begins to move my car whistles real loud and it is consistent with my rpm's. Also I cant figure out where its coming from because it doesn't really make the noise in park. It is really loud, and Im not sure what or where its coming from. Also, My CE light did come on once and then went back off. I cant check codes I still need to buy a code checker. This is usually accomidated with a rough idle as well. I have a feeling the CE code will be some kind of mass air flow issue.
Any help would be appreciated...

P.S. I cant find any holes anywhere.

Is it like a squealing sound? You may just need to tighten your power steering belt with that little bolt..

Could also be the power steering pump. Mine makes a bit of a high pitched noise in the morning.

If it's more of a whistle then a squeak, my bet would be that you have a small vacuum leak (could also explain the rough idle and CE light).

I definately feel its air related. And it is more of a whistle as opposed to a squeel like a belt would make. If it was a vaccum leak would be so terribly loud? Yea about my belt, I know I need a new belt thats a completely different noise... Is there an IAC motor of some sort, in the SVX?

I checked the engine codes, And surprisingly I have 3. 31, 34, 37
-Throttle Position Sensor or Circuit
-EGR Solenoid or Circuit
-O2 Sensor No. 2

Can somebody give me some advice on the codes and what can be done??

Also I was going to tighten my belt, which bolt do you tight. I see two near the radiator on the right side of the pulley system. One on top and one on bottom, I was guessing the bottom one but I wanted someones input. Thanx in advance guys.

I got the EGR and O2 sensor codes at the same time as well, and the problem was my TPS. Got a new TPS, adjusted it, cleared the codes, and they never came back. However, I have also heard that a loose or leaking vacuum hose can throw the EGR code. So you either have a bad TPS and its throwing the other 02 codes (and I cant explain the loud, high pitched noise) or you have a loose vacuum hose (which explains the noise and the EGR code) and also a bad 02 sensor and TPS.
