removing radio

'94 SVX. How the heck do you take out the radio. The radio works, but the light so I can see the stations at night doesn't work. I hope it is just the bulb, but I can not figure out how to take the radio out to find the bulb. Thanks for any help.

If you go to the How-Tos here, and then find stereo, it will give the instructions on how to remove it. The lights that you mention are not where you can get to them very easy. You will have to take the case apart and fix the lights in there. Good luck.

Seems that other wires or something is so tight in there that there isn't enough of a hole for the ends to fit through. Luckly I didn't have to completely remove the radio. The light that shows up at night to see the station had blown. I got to it. Now to find another bulb and put everthing back together.

antenna wire

There are 2 antenna wires for the SVX. One for the pole and one for the rear windshield. Both are tucked nicely behind a U shaped holder at the back. Once you take it out of the metal holder, the antenna wires (both) will come out pretty far. I've tested in both 94 and 92s that I've owned.
