Question Brake Rotors

Hello, do these brake rotors fit our european SVX's?
Which is better, vented (not in this url), drilled, slotted or drilled and slotted?
http://store.yahoo.com/svx-motorspor...osdrilrot.html
Thanks and regards!

Personally, I like the dimpled drilled and slotted ones. That does not compromise the stength of the roter.

Try www.performancebrakes.co.uk

Although the website doesn't list disks for the SVX, the will supply if you email them. Work well too!!

I have the slotted and dimple drilled on a couple of my SVXes and they are great. One of the best things to do is get the stainless steel brake lines. They are fantastic.

Yes, plus greenstuff pads. Worked like a dream. I have heard that the new redstuff ceramic pads are even better so I am getting some for the XT

Hi,

I had the EBC rotors (discs) If you go to ebcbrakes.com they list suppliers for all of their kit. EBC used to supply direct but now only do through suppliers.

The EDC discs and pads were A1 IMHO and I have ruined many sets of others in the past through overheating.

Thanks Andy, so you have "normal" discs (not drilled or slotted). What discs had you before EBC's?

No, as in picture above.

They replaced the originals.

Ok, Andy, but in performancebrakes and in ebc I only have found REAR "normal" discs not drilled or slotted. Do you have the discs of the pic above also in rear tyres? Performancebrakes said to me that the only drilled slotted discs they have for SVX are FRONT black diamond...
Thanks!

Hello, I want now to buy greenstuff pads front and rear. Are they the same for Right hand drive and left hand drive? Do you recommend me these pads or there is now better pads for SVX?
Thanks!

They will be the same pads in all SVXs.

I now have a Forester and have fitted Redstuff. They are mighty, even better stopping power than Greenstuff, but I do not know if they are available for the SVX. If you ask one of the suppliers, they should be able to help, or even make they specifically for you. They were able to do it for my Toyota.
