Looking for a fender roller

Anybody have one, know of a cheaper one (if I must buy it) or know of anyplace that will rent one. Of course I'll pay shipping and some money for your trouble. Need a little more clearance and are switching fenders with some rusty ones.

If an english wheel is another name for what you stick on the hub and press the fender higher to fit larger wheels or tires on then yes. Hagerstown isn't so far. Would I be able to take it home or would I need to bring the car down?

the english wheel it what is used to make alminum fenders from sheet. i dont think i know anyone who coul produce anything that looks like a svx fender with that tool. the front fenders would be the hardest, however i might know a guy who could make a pannel for the rears that have some svx shape to them, you would have to cut out the section of your origional rear fenders and weld the new section on. how wide are you looking to go?

the bigest problem i can forsee is the bumbers and plastic cladding, we can change the shape of the fenders but getting that shape to work beond my abilities.

post a pick of what your thinking, is it 22b like flairs?

Honestly A bat won't do the trick. Too far to go and then there is the rear fender

Eastwood fender roller

No idea whether or not that's a fair price; I just remembered seeing it in their catalog.

Yeah that's the only one I could find. Did locate someone locally with one so I'll just throw some cash his way for borrowing it!

Ben,
Glad to see you found someone local you could borrow one from. Make sure to post pics of how the fenders turn out

p.s. do you need the width measurement on the 275s?

Its a winter project, just getting my ducks in a row so no measurement needed just yet. Still need to come up with some longer studs so I can put some larger spacers on and have more than a thread of bite. This car really looks mean with these dirt stockers on it and the g.c. that it has. I think we could run over some other svxs.
