I keep hearing a lot about 'Camry's' could this fill the void?
Maybe it's time for that AUDI you've always wanted, unless you can spring for a CAYENNE!
Don't forget, there's always the H6 OUTBACK'

Hi Arthur,

Nothing you mention strikes a spark with me, sorry. Wouldn't be caught dead in an upright type 4wd (cayenne); I don't have a truck license! Not tookeen on the tall looking outback either...

Regards,

Blake

Guys
I am the guy that brought Blakes car for my wife. She is nuts over it, is totally in love with it and I am sure she will look after it form a cleaning point of view. Blake was kind my 1995 SVX has done a lot of work and has 275,000 hard K's on it. When he saw it it was cover in mud and the inside had some mud as well. As they say never jude a book by its cover it is brilliantly maintained as I go bush into the outback dessert of SA taking photo's. The car has spent over 150,000 on dirt but never missed a beat. We brought Blakes car because I wanted a perfect example of the SVX and it was that and it will spent a long and loving life it my wifes hands.

Congratulations on the expected arrival, Blake that will make up for the loss of the car.
You never know what the future will bring. My Son had a red 240 Z Datsun, when he was married, then Ellen was expected, he decided to sell it and buy a wagon to fit the necessary baby paraphernalla in. Played the family man for 12 years, then the itch to get another project car returned. Checked the for sale in the papers, lol,, there was the red 240 for sale. Bought it back from the person he sold it to, well cared for, and $2k less than he sold it for.

So you may be reunited again in the future.
All the best to you and yours.
Harvey.

Thanks for coming on Tony. We are a closet family here, like to know who has what and where. I have a 95 myself, though only 112,000. Love taking it outback, it is in its element, flat open roads invite it to run its legs off. Though I am not to keen on the stone chips, and screen chips. I was out at the Ridge a couple of weeks ago, broke the drought, of course, but it amazed the onlookers as it handled the slippery stuff with ease.

I know your wife will enjoy the car and get a trouble free run out of it.
Keep in touch.
Harvey.

Thanks for the thoughts Harvey,

That would be a nice thing to come to pass, because there is not much in the market that fills the shoes of the SVX; stunning coupe stye with 4 genuine seats, and great presence on the road, nice grunt for authority... you know the story. I sort of like the crossfire (it's a bit quirky too) but only 2 seater. I am in denial, hard to think in the same term about a 4 dour...

Blake
