remote key

i just replaced the battery on my key remote but for some reason it still only works only one in 20 times i push it.
does anyone else have this problem?

I hope it would work fine if u just clean the pad which lies under the red pressing pad which u see outside (i.e the area between the red pressing pad and interior connecting pad) and also try to clean the battery connecting components inside the remote.
