Steering problem when cold
Hey guys...
After this cold weather I've noticed my power steering seems to lock and I hear the belt squeal when I turn the wheel. This only happens when its cold. After the car warms up after 5 minutes it will be fine. Could it be my ps pump?

It doesnt seem to help when I turn the tensioner bolt. Either way I turn it, it doesn't seem to tighten or loosen. Should I be turning counter-clockwise or clockwise?
I think you hit it right on the hammer mike, there is enough play in the belt and its not as tight as I would like it to be.

Make sure to loosen the bolt in the center of the tensioner pulley before turning the tension bolt.
