Shaking SVX

First I should introduce myself as I am Kind of new here. I bought a 92 SVX a couple of months ago and love it. I a subaru fan and always will be.

Recently I was driving home from Georgetown, Wash D.C., and was crusing at about 75-80 when all of the sudden My SVX just started shaking a little and then got more proounced. I quickly let off the cruise control and slowed down a little and set the cruise at 60 and after a few seconds it started shaking again. It would only shake when I went a constant speed and not when I accelerated or decellerated. I was going straight no turns ot anything. I stopped and checked my tires to make sure they were inflated properly. I know I have a little tread left on the front and I need an alignment but this was the first time that has happened in the 3000 miles I put on her.

Can anyone help me out??? I hope that it is just the powersteering and not the Diffs or anything
Thanks
Greg

Its most likely due to something loose in the suspension. Its most likely something in the front suspension. Things to check:

- lug nut (tightness)
- wheel bearing wear
- wear of (front) ball joints
- looseness of any suspension nuts/bolts
- worn struts
- worn bushings in rear suspension

After you find the problem and get it fixed, you'll probably want to get the alignment checked and adjusted as necessary.

Turns out that two of my lug nuts on the front passenger wheel are completly stripped. I guess they missed that when I got it Inspected. More money to SOA for that!!!!
