It's like when the die-hard BMW enthusiasts tell me to go OEM for everything because they "manufacture everything to a higher standard" and "BMW engineers know best." If that were the case, there wouldn't be an aftermarket for water pumps with metal impellers because the plastic ones wouldn't need replacing every 50k miles. /rant
