New project: '92 Legacy Turbo Sedan
Just picked up my Spring project-- a '92 Legacy Turbo sport sedan at a local auction for $675-- or about $900 with buyer's fees, etc. 138k miles, the "coveted" EJ22T closed-deck turbo engine, auto trans. Pretty clean inside and out with "rare" ecsaine interior. No body damage, just one spot of rust on the left front fender.
I bought it as a non-runner- they couldn't get it started, but it cranks freely and seems to have compression. Timing belt wasn't broken. Trans fluid was bright and clean. I hope it doesn't take too much to get it running. |

Nice car. I have had 2 of them. do yourself a favor and put a 5 speed in it or have one on standby for when that one bites it.
