Underbody plastic

Looking for the center plastic piece under the front of the motor. Would like a fairly decent one, no cracks, breaks, or monster scrapes.

Re: Underbody plastic

Good luck. Finding them in good condition is sometimes difficult

They are called the "under cover" or "under guard"

The part number is 56410PA001

About $167.00 new

I have 2 laying around. They need a good scrub. I know one has some scrapes but I will have to check the other one. They are being stored with my "parts car". I will take a look at them on Saturday to see what condition. But like John said...if you want mint then I would buy one new.

Re: Underbody plastic

Doesn't have to be perfect, just functional. Let me know what you discover and your price; a good scrubbing is fine.

And, thank you!

Re: Underbody plastic

When I bought my SVX in 2011 I drove it fast and the front end started to lift. I found out its missing the center of 3?? panels and want that panel either way. Folks leave it off for cooling? If so, I'd rather fix that another way.

I'll look tomorrow. Forgot the other day when pulling the transmission. Plus I'll check around for the second one.

Re: Underbody plastic

It's dirty. (It's been in a barn for about 7 years) It will look great once I clean it really well. It has some small scratches (not deep at all) but otherwise in great condition. Pics below.

It would be best to PM me if interested.

Re: Underbody plastic

but if you have it on you wont be able to see your oil leaks lol...

ive had good luck using a wheel cleaner (like eagle one all in one) and then using a tire brush. It will get that looking like new.

Re: Underbody plastic

I just blew all the caked on oil and sand off mine with a pressure washer. It only takes a couple of minutes. It's 5 pounds lighter now.
