will 02-08 WRX oil filter fit?
I was looking to get an oil filter sandwich adapter for the svx to easily add an oil cooler.
I found one that fits the 02-08 WRX and couldn't find info on whether or not it would fit the EG. I looked up oil filters between the two motors and they aren't the same, but the part numbers are similar. Anyone know for sure or can direct me to a site that could help me? Thanks, Shaun

Yes. It will fit. Even though the oil filters are different, their dimensions are the same. The SVX filter has more filtration surface area than the WRX one.

Should defineatly fit.
I have a sandwhich adapter here for a WRX if you want measurements off it. We sell them, so I have a few laying around... Looking for a good deal, let me know... Put a 944 filter on it. Should fit fine, and you'll get the additional bonus of the larger size.
