I have, Rebecca. A number of times.

Those 5,6,7,8s do kind of get your attention all right. It is almost as if they were drafted up as a response to the girls in Robert Palmer's "Addicted to Love" video.

I'm gonna have to face it.

In my first car a '93 nissan sentra I found, among a whole lot of water and dirt, in the trunk there was old shoes, bowling pin, chubby porn, a few thongs, a suitcase with moldy clothes, umbrella, some B&W porn, and a torn dildo.

The kicker is, it was an older guy's car before me

Re: Things you've found in your car from previous owners...

So today I decided to clean out my SVX and put my new floormats in it (Okay, so they aren't NEW, they are out of a Prius...) and when I was trying to stuff the back mat under the driver's seat, it wouldn't go, so I reached under there to see what it was, expecting it to be the power seat mechanism, and I found a box thing that I yanked out, and discovered a little flashlight thing with a built-in toolkit. I'm gonna try and dig out the email of the guy I bought the car from and see if he wants it back...

As for weird things, I've never really found anything in a car beyond the "normal" stuff, I did buy an 82 sedan once that had a can of chew pouches that expired in 1986 under the seat. My friend tried one and said it was the most stale tobacco he'd ever had...

Now digging in the local junkyard is a different story, since a lot of their cars are impounds. One car came in with a bunch of needles all over in it, I've found all sorts of weird stuff. one car had like, 5 or 6 porn DVDs in it, and the guy at the counter said I could have the parts I came in after if he could keep it That was a better deal than the transmission I got out of there for 2 cases of beer!

I didn't know ninja stars were illegal? Or do you live in Commiefornia?

Re: Things you've found in your car from previous owners...

oh yeah... commifornia

yeah the cop had a field day with it too,

recited all this penal code and did the whole scared-straight bad cop thing,
but in the end let me go.... fact is, this rusted little toy would not hold up in court and he knew it....

funny though,
possession of a ninja star in CA it is apparently classified along with knifes, shanks, dirks, dagger, single-shot guns (), cane-swords, katanas, clubs, "blackjacks" and many other vicious types of weaponry, and is a FELONY punishable by up to a year.... wow....
