Re: legacy is acting wack

its a 92 legacy ss automatic. also the tps has some cracked wires.. not broken off but the rubber on the wires has cracked on several of the wires

I think you've found your problem, I would start with that, go to the junkyard if need be and get a connector and enough of the wiring to splice it in.

I'm guessing that both the TPS and MAF are shot in his case. The abnormal voltage (code 23) is pretty much definitive on that issue.

thanks for the help guys, but just today before i put any parts on it kind of fixed itself... everything is fine except for i hit fuel cut when power mode comes on. i went to a junk yard and got a good tps connecter and somehow i was really lucky and found an n/a legacy with a turbo maf on it so i got it for only 20$!! what a steal... the guys at the junk yard knew nothing about subaru's lol
