Swapin to a Manual transmission.

I have a simple question; with I expect a very complex answer.

Has anyone here swapped the standard automatic transmission with a manual tranny from a WRX?

The mechanical part has already been accomplished with a slight gear reduction to the 3.9 WRX ratio. But I am wondering about the electrical part. There are all sorts of electrical connections that that run to or through the tranny. Has anyone dealt with these issues, if so what were your solutions to all the different electrical/sensor connections which are not there in the manual tranny.

Theres a super handy button across the top of the forum - Search. Try it, there are literally hundreds of threads about this.

^^^What he said. Also, in the top right corner of the screen you will see a list of links "SVX Network Forums"...etc. One of those is Old Lockers. Click on it, and then scroll down to the one called How-To. Look around in there, there's tons of info.
