FWD Fuse: Where is it?
So I've searched, but can't find a picture of which fuse spot is for the FWD fuse. There are no markings as to what fuse does what in my fusebox in the engine bay on my '96. I am having binding problems with my AWD, so I'd like to do some diagnostics before I go ripping out my duty C sol.
Could someone post a picture of which fuse it is? That would be so helpful. Thanks, Paul

That is my diagram.
There is NOT supposed to be a fuse in the FWD slot. The slot should have some protective grease inside of it. Putting a spare fuse into that FWD slot causes the car to become FWD only. Removing the fuse lets the car run normally in AWD. It is normal for that slot to be empty. .

Does it allow ANY power to go to the rear wheels?
I am trying to be objective and get as many opinions/facts on this as possible from as many sources as possible. Only one person knows why I am asking this.  I am talking about installing the fuse and using it for a short duration at WOT....until....say....90-95mph. Will it put any power to the rear wheels?

In a nutshell, the FWD fuse forces the transfer clutch to open. No power to the rear. There may be a hint of transfer, but that's just inertia within the fluid, sort of like the torque converter.
