timing probs
i have searched but cant find the answer i need
okai well i have not yte started my svx as when it was bought it was damaged, i have repaired the damage and it wont start, after going through many things we have found the timing is off. (it is an aus delivered car if that makes any difference in all of this) anyway what i need to know is how are the other 2 cams driven since they got no pulleys and how to set the timing as the belt is still good nic but has no marks, does anyone know how many teeth it is between marks. cheers, rob |

I don't think the marks on the belt realy mater. As long as the cam gears and the crank grears are all a lined to the timing marks. Here is a pic of the timing belt marks.
