Leather seats that have been wet
The other day I found a parts car with a decent interior. The only problem is that the windshield has been out since mid this year. The seats look good but are a little stiff (from being rained on). They are not as worn looking as mine though. I thought maybe some leather conditioner might bring them back to life but I'm affraid they would fall appart if used daily. What do you all think? The salvage yard is selling them for $75 each.

Leather conditioner may help, I've used one made by Apple Polishes, it doesn't change the color it just prevents the leather from drying out more I've used it on my rear headrest and it made them much softer. I will offer the the salvage yard less maybe $50 because you never know if the conditioner will actually make them softer.
Good Luck |
